The Wound Center at CPRMC

Wound Center Staff

Opening in late 2009, The Wound Center at Carolina Pines Regional Medical Center was established to provide advanced surgical and medical treatment options to patients with chronic non-healing wounds.

While a majority of our patients at The Wound Center have wounds of the legs and feet, we also see patients of all ages for complicated wounds located on all parts of the body. Many of our patients are diabetics and many have poor circulation, also known as Peripheral Arterial Disease (P.A.D.).

Our goal is to achieve complete healing of these wounds through a combination of medical therapy, surgical debridement and sometimes surgical intervention, as well as with the use of Hyperbaric Oyxgen Therapy (HBO). We use many different advanced wound care products and the latest state-of-the-art techniques in both the diagnosis and treatment of non-healing chronic wounds.

Staffed entirely by surgeons and nurses with decades of experience in wound management, as well as certification in advanced wound care and HBO therapy, the Wound Center at Carolina Pines Regional Medical Center will help to formulate a plan to create maximum healing in a safe and efficient manner.
