As a board certified and fellowship-trained general surgeon, Dr. Jason Dameron specializes in minimally invasive and advanced laparoscopic techniques to provide his patients with the best possible results. He has more than 10 years’ experience in all aspects of general surgery including breast, endocrine, skin/soft tissue and gastrointestinal disease as well as hernias and surgical endoscopy.
Dr. Dameron earned his Doctorate of Medicine from East Carolina University Brody School of Medicine. He completed his general surgery residency at Greenville Hospital University Medical Center in Greenville, South Carolina. He also competed a year of specialized fellowship training in advanced laparoscopic and minimally invasive surgery at Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center in Winston Salem, North Carolina.
Dr. Dameron is married with two children. He and his family are members of Hartsville First Baptist Church. He is an avid outdoorsman, enjoying hunting and fishing and other recreation sports.
